Terms & Conditions
Effective May 12, 2025
These terms apply to all Groove School memberships, courses, downloads, and related educational services provided by Ted Gould III and Ted Talks Bass, LLC.
1. Who We Are
Groove School is an online bass education platform created by Ted Gould III and operated under Ted Talks Bass, LLC. When you access Groove School, you're agreeing to these terms.
2. What You’re Getting
Groove School offers structured lessons, play-along tracks, technique breakdowns, and learning materials for bass players. Membership provides personal access to exclusive content not available elsewhere.
3. Personal Use Only
All content—including videos, PDFs, diagrams, and downloads—is the intellectual property of Ted Gould III and Ted Talks Bass, LLC.
Your membership is for individual use only. Sharing login credentials, reproducing materials, or distributing lessons is prohibited.
4. Progress Is Up to You
We provide the tools and support to help you grow as a player, but we don’t promise specific results. Your progress depends on your practice, consistency, and effort.
5. Payments, Trials & Refunds
-
All purchases are final.
-
Free trials (when available) convert automatically unless canceled before the trial period ends.
-
Due to the digital nature of our content, we do not offer refunds.
6. Fair Use & Login Policy
You agree not to share your login or content access with others. Accounts found in violation may be suspended or revoked without refund.
7. Email List & Communication
When you sign up for Groove School or download free resources, you'll be added to our email list. We send lessons, updates, and other useful info. You can unsubscribe anytime.
8. Community Conduct
Respectful, constructive participation is expected in all Groove School spaces—comments, livestreams, and forums. Harassment, spam, or disruptive behavior will result in removal.
9. User-Generated Content
If you post comments, submit feedback, or contribute any content, you retain ownership—but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and share that content for educational or promotional purposes.
We reserve the right to remove content that is offensive, promotional, or violates these terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for injuries, lost data, or any negative outcomes resulting from how you apply Groove School materials. All use is at your own risk. Use good judgment and take care of your hands, ears, and gear.
11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration, rather than through court litigation.
-
Arbitration will take place in Orleans Parish, Louisiana, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
-
Each party is responsible for its own legal fees.
-
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Updates to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. If changes are made, they’ll be posted clearly. Continued use of Groove School after changes means you accept the updated terms.
